Prof. Dr. Haroon Khan is a professor and chairman of the Department of Pharmacy. He has 452 publications. Prof. Khan is the editorial board member of a number of journals, including consulting editor of Pharmacological Research, Section Editor of Current Neuropharmacology and Current Molecular Pharmacology, Associate Editor of Current Bioactive Compounds, and Academic Editor of Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine. He regularly edits a number of books for international publishers such as Elsevier, CRC, Springer, Bentham science, etc. The scientific contribution of Dr. Khan has been acknowledged by the Pakistan Council for Science and Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) and awarded Research Productivity awards four times for the years 2011–2014. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Haroon Khan has been placed in the recently published Stanford's list of the world's top 2% of scientists. This clearly reflects the outstanding research potential of Dr. Khan acknowledged globally.
